Hall of Fame
Vinny Bell is one of the best student-athletes to play men's soccer at Case Western Reserve. The first, and at the time of his induction, only, two-time All-American in program history, Bell became the first CWRU men's soccer player to sign a professional contract, playing with AFC Cleveland after graduation. He set career program records with 43 goals and 101 points, including his outstanding 2011 campaign when he set the single-season program record with 20 goals and 50 points. A two-time University Athletic Association Most Valuable Player and three-time All-UAA First Team selection, Bell also excelled in the classroom, earning NSCAA Collegiate Scholar All-America First Team honors following the 2011 season. He would later sign with the Cleveland Soccer Club, where he would win an NPSL Championship in 2016, and the Cleveland Crunch, where he won a National Championship in 2021. Bell also played wide receiver on the CWRU football team in 2012, earning an All-UAA First Team selection.
