Recognized as an All-Ohio fullback, David Samuelson ran up oneof the “most impressive records ever hung up by a Caseplayer.” A triple threat, “Dauntless Dave” wasHonorable Mention All-America and was named to an all-opponentsteam by the members of Case’s conference. The schools pickedSamuelson by unanimous vote. The Plain Dealer and theCleveland Press selected him for their All-Districtelevens. He was tabbed All-American by the AssociatedPress.
