James Biggar made his presence known both as a football player and wrestler. On the gridiron, Biggar lettered in both 1949 and 1950, and he was named an All-Big Four defensive end following the ’49 season. That same year, CIT defeated Western Reserve for the first time in 22 years. On the mat, Biggar earned letters in 1947, 1948, and 1949. He posted an undefeated dual match record at the heavyweight class during the ’49 campaign.
