Jay Todd is one of the most accomplished linebackers in CWRU football history. A team captain as a senior, Todd was selected to the Associated Press Little All-America Team in both 1985 and 1986. A native of North Canton and product of Massillon Jackson High School, Todd was also a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree and the league’s 1985 Hank Critchfield Award winner (Defensive MVP). That season, he led CWRU in tackles as the defense set school records for fewest rushing yards, total yards and first downs allowed in a season. One year later, the defense set the CWRU standard for fewest points surrendered. Todd’s career accomplishments earned him a spot on the NCAC All-Decade Team.

Todd earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from CWRU in 1988. He then went on to work for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio. After seven-plus years in engineering and manufacturing, Todd moved to Atlanta where he began a career in professional services consulting working for KPMG, Diamond Technology Partners and IBM. Currently, Todd serves in IBM’s Strategy & Transformation group, where he helps clients develop advanced analytic solutions to transform their businesses. Todd and his wife Carla have been married since 2001 and have two children, Nicklaus (13) and Riley (10).
