Jean Revelt was a member of the Case Institute of Technologygridiron team from 1946–50. Revelt, who was a physics majorat Case Tech, earned three varsity letters in football. He was anAll-Big Four selection two years in a row and was awarded the LesBale Award, which was given every year to the most outstanding andvaluable member of the football team. Revelt played for legendarycoach Ray Ride, who called him “one of the greatest footballplayers in the history of Case Tech”.  The team hadsingle-game captains during Revel's ear, and he served asone.  Revelt was in Who’s Who Among Students in AmericanUniversities and Colleges, President of the senior class andcarried a high average in academics.  He went on to work atLincoln Electric for 46 and a half years and was totally dedicatedto the company and Case Tech.  He and his wife raised sevenchildren.
