Chris Nader is one of only five Spartan wrestlers to earn multipleNCAA Division III All-American finishes. A native of nearbyLakewood, Ohio, Nader placed sixth in the nation at 157 pounds in2001 and eighth in Division III at 165 pounds in 2002. Also the2001 UAA Wrestler of the Year, Nader ranks seventh all-time inprogram history with 110 wins (110-42 overall). As a junior, he wasnamed the CWRU Arthur P. Leary Award winner for his leadership,academic performance, sportsmanship and contribution to theathletic department. Those qualities also earned him the Philip K.“Nip” Heim Award as a senior.
