Jerry Harbak took just two years to amass six letters while in aRed Cat uniform. During his career at Western Reserve, he earnedtwo monograms on the basketball court, two on the track and twomore in cross country. On the hardwood, Harbak was team MVP andnamed to the All-City and All-PAC squads. He was also a teamcaptain on the track and set the school record in the three milerun. On the cross country course, Harbak was once again a teamcaptain and MVP. He shattered the school record for four-mile racesin 1965 and also held the school three-mile mark.
