Clarence Regan was a three-year letterman in both football and baseball. On the gridiron, he was instrumental in starting the Rough Riders’ four-year winning streak versus Ohio State,and, in 1909, he quarterbacked Case to the Ohio Conference Championship en route to earning a spot on the “ACE”Ohio Conference Football Team. On the diamond, Regan split time at catcher and outfielder. He also managed the “Big Nine” Championship squad.
