From 1973-77, Charles Story was the best tennis player in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. A four-year letterman and three-time PAC MVP, Story was league singles and doubles champion all four years, and he went undefeated in singles play with an unblemished record of 41-0 in PAC competition. In doubles action, he ended his career at 35-1 in conference play. In the Cleveland Collegiate Tournament, Story won a pair of championships. Story also competed in the NCAA Championship Tournament twice in 1976 and 1977, and as a junior, he reached the tournament’s quarterfinals.
