CWRU Athletics

In her brief career as a Spartan, Preyss made a lasting impact on the CWRU swimming and diving program.  In her one season on the team in 2006-07, she earned three individual All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Championships, placing second in the 200-yard freestyle, and fourth in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle. She still holds school records in all three events, with times of 23.51 in the 50 free, 50.89 in the 100 free, and 1:49.93 in the 200 free. Preyss was selected to the UAA 30^th Anniversary Team, and to date, is one of just two swimmers in program history to be named UAA Swimmer of the Year. At the 2007 UAA Championships, she claimed conference titles in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle, while earning All-UAA honors with third-place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle and as a part of the 200-yard freestyle relay.
