Gene Myslenski was a star offensive lineman forthe Western Reserve Redcat football team in the mid-1930s. Histeammates knew him best as “Moose,” and he was oftendescribed as an “All-Star of an All-Star line.”Myslenski was one of just two unanimous choices on the 1935 All-BigFour team and was selected to the All-Ohio team in both 1935 and1936.  The Red Cats lost only one game in his three-yearcareer, and he was selected to the first half-century team(1900-1950) as an offensive guard.
