Elaine Hillenmeyer Tronic was a four-time All-American for the Spartans, claiming the honors as a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay (14th-place) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (16th-place) in 2002, and as a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay (11th) and 400-yard medley relay (12th) in 2003.  Her career-best time of 2:12.15 in the 200-yard individual medley was a school-record at the time of her graduation, and her mark of 24.49 in the 50-yard freestyle still ranks as the seventh-best ever notched by a Spartan in the event.  She was a part of the UAA Champion 400-yard freestyle relay team in 2002, and secured nine all-conference honors over her career, including a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2005 UAA Championships.  Hillenmeyer won CWRU's Glenn & Peggy Nicholls Female Athlete of the Year Award and the Emily R. Andrews Award as a senior, the Dorothy L. Hoza Award as a junior.
