CWRU Athletics

Dale Evans earned 10 varsity letters at Reserve with three infootball, three in basketball, two in baseball and two in track& field. He was a three-time all-conference selection on thegridiron and a captain for the Red Cat hoops team. As a senior,Evans was awarded WRU’s Willaman Trophy as its OutstandingSenior Athlete.  Upon graduation, Evans was drafted by thePhiladelphia Eagles of the National Football League. However, hedecided against pro football in favor of naval flight school.
