CWRU Athletics

During his over 30 years of service at Case Western Reserve University, Hugh Marshall touched the lives of countless students at the school, both inside the athletic department and out. His primary responsibilities over the years have been wide-ranging, including handling the athletic equipment and uniforms for CWRU teams, serving as a gameday event manager, and field maintenance. He was a mainstay on the sidelines for Spartan football, working 306-consecutive games. Hugh also carved out special relationships on campus with a number of Greek organizations, and remained dedicated to his high school, West Geauga, serving as a scorekeeper for its basketball teams up until he passed away at the age of 65 in 2018 following a battle with cancer.
