Chester Orr was the captain of CIT’s football squads at atime when they were considered to be the best team in the state.During his three years in uniform, CIT recorded 19 shutouts andcompiled a 23-6 record. Orr was the quarterback, safety, punter,field goal kicker, kickoff specialist and kick returner for the1903 squad which finished 9-1, outscored its opponents 245-37, andbeat Ohio State, 12-0. The next season, Case posted an 8-2 recordand repeated as state champion.
