Carson Oren enters the Hall of Fame as the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in the history of the CWRU men’s basketball program, finishing his career with 1,612 points and 753 rebounds.  He also ranks first in school history with 100 career games played and 346 made free throws, second with 97 starts, sixth with 128 steals and eighth with 240 assists.  He is one of just three players in program history to earn All-UAA honors each of his four seasons on the team, including nods to the First Team during his junior and senior seasons.  In addition, Carson was the first Spartan ever to be named the UAA Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Year, claiming the honor following his freshman season in 2002-03.  The South Bend, Indiana native set a program single-game record with 21 rebounds against Emory on February 25, 2006, the final game of his collegiate career.  He was named the CWRU Dr. David Hutter Male Athlete of the Year in 2006, and was the 2005 winner of the Arthur P. Leary Award.
