Jack Larimer competed for the track and field team at Western Reserve University from 1959 through 1963, winning five conference championships and earning seven All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors.  He was the premier sprinter and hurdler in the conference during his time with the team, sweeping the championships in the 100-yard dash, 120-yard high hurdles and 220-yard intermediate hurdles in 1961, before returning in 1962 to defend his title in both the 120-yard high hurdles and 220-yard intermediate hurdles.  Larimer set PAC records in three events during his time as a Red Cat, and totaled a stunning 68 points over his career at the conference championship meets.  For his efforts, Larimer was named to the PAC’s 60th Anniversary Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Team, one of just three honored from Western Reserve.
