Gabriel Biguria earned letters in soccer in 1961, 1962 and 1963and lettered in tennis in 1962 and 1963 for the Case Institute ofTechnology Rough Riders. He was a team captain his last three yearson the pitch, earning All-Presidents’ Athletic Conferencehonors in each of those seasons. Biguria received a Bachelor ofScience degree in chemical engineering in 1963 and went on to earna master’s and PhD in chemical engineering from LehighUniversity in 1966 and 1968, respectively. While at Lehigh, heplayed for the Allentown German Soccer Club for three years. He waselected to the Sigma Xi Honorary Scientific Society in 1967.
