Ann Harsh, a 1972 graduate of Flora Stone Mather College,co-captained and lettered in women’s basketball while atMather. She also participated in volleyball. Following graduation,Harsh worked for over 18 years at Ernst & Ernst before becomingthe Chief Financial Officer of the MetroHealth System in Cleveland,Ohio. She later retired in order to focus on the sport of sailing.Harsh and her husband, Ralph, have their yacht Harmonie around theworld and participated in the Millennium Odyssey Sailing Rally.They placed in the top three in most legs of the Rally and receivedthe trophy for the overall winner of the Greenwich route-whichbegins and ends in London-around the world.
