A 1934 graduate of Case, Edward Bale made his presence known both as a wrestler and football player. On the mat, he earned letters in 1932, 1933, and 1934, and captured the state championship at 175 pounds in 1933 and 1934. As a football player, he earned letters during the 1932 and 1933 seasons. Following his days at Case, Bale pursued careers in process engineering and development administration until his retirement in 1983.
