Earl Overstreet was a star wide receiver and high jumper for theCIT Rough Riders in the late 1960s. During his junior season,Overstreet earned the Les Bale Trophy as the football team’smost outstanding and valuable player. In 1967, he set a CIT recordwith 32 receptions.

In track & field, Overstreet tied the school record for thehigh jump. A three-time All-Presidents’ AthleticConference performer, he captained the team his senior year as itextended its dual meet winning streak to 26 and won asecond-straight PAC championship.
