David Ciacci won 85 percent of his wrestling matches as aSpartan at Case Western Reserve and was the first wrestler in theschool’s modern era to win 100 career matches. At the time ofhis induction, Ciacci was sixth on the all-time victories list with120 wins. During his career, Ciacci was a four-year letterwinnerand was named team captain in 1993 and 1994. He was a nationalqualifier in the 134-pound weight class on three occasions andbecame an All-American his senior year with a fourth-place finishat the NCAA Championship. Ciacci majored in materials science atCase Western Reserve and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alphafraternity.
