Steve Mihaly lettered in wrestling, football and track &field at CIT in the early 1950s. His senior year, Mihaly served ascaptain of the wrestling team in addition to being namedAll-Presidents’ Athletic Conference Honorable Mention infootball. While at CIT, Mihaly was president of the Sigma AlphaEpsilon fraternity and a class officer for three years.
