Terrence Wenger earned a combined six varsity letters with three each in baseball and basketball. Wenger may have been best known for his abilities on the baseball diamond, where he was a two-year captain. He earned first-team All-PAC honors three times as an infielder, and he played pro baseball in the then-Cleveland Indians organization for two years following graduation. On the hardwood, Wenger earned second-team all-conference as a guard twice and served as team captain during the 1961 and 1962 seasons. Wenger was presented the Sam Willaman Award in 1962.
