Al Motiejunas earned a total of seven varsity letters in basketball, football and track at Adelbert College in the mid-1960s. While at Adelbert, Motiejunas was a member of the varsity basketball team his sophomore and junior years. He also ran track for three years, during which he was a three-time Presidents’ Athletic Conference champion in the 400-meter relay, 200-meter run, and broad jump. Motiejunas also played football for one season as a wide receiver and defensive back and won the Willam an Trophy for excellence in athletics that year.
