Thomas Kohuth was a three-sport student-athlete at AdelbertCollege in the mid-1960s. Kohuth earned the maximum number ofletters (three) at that time in football, wrestling and baseball.He was only the fourth Red Cat athlete to earn nine letters duringa college career. In 1963, Kohuth averaged 4.5 yards per carry fromthe running back and flanker position. He wrestled at 147 poundsand played outfield as a member of the baseball team. Kohuth wonboth the athletic department’s John L. Price and Sam WillimanAwards, for excellence both on and off the field.
