Clark Brumbaugh became the first wrestling All-American in schoolhistory with an eighth-place finish at 150 pounds as a senior. Theprogram’s all-time wins leader at the time of his graduation,Brumbaugh finished his career as a three-time national qualifierwith a record of 64-23-1. As a sophomore during the 1979-80campaign, the Tallmadge, Ohio native set a then schoolsingle-season record with 22 victories and was named Most ValuableWrestler of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. A seasonlater in 1981, he set the school record for fastest pin (10seconds).
