Todd Johnsson played basketball for legendary CWRU Head CoachBill Sudeck in the 1980s. He led the Spartans in scoring as asophomore (11.5 ppg.), junior (18.6 ppg.) and senior (20.5 ppg.)during three-straight winning seasons. Duringhis junior campaign, he led the Presidents' AthleticConference in scoring, field goal percentage (58%) and free throwpercentage (83%) and was an All-PAC FirstTeam selection. Johnsson's career-high was 33 points(three times), and he was named a tournament MVP threetimes. During his senior year, the Spartans turned in thebest record (17-9) in federated history. At time of induction,Johnsson was still eighth on the program's career points list with1,187, including the second-best single-season point total (493 in1985).
