A true force at the net, Tricia McCutchan Minton stands as the best Case Western Reserve University volleyball student-athlete in recent history. At the time of her induction, she holds six program records, including kills (1,917), attack percentage (.319), total blocks (495), block assists (332), sets played (495), and total points (2,348.0). One of three CWRU volleyball players to earn All-Region honorable mention, which she received twice in her career, McCutchan Minton earned All-University Athletic Association honors in each of her four seasons, including First Team honors as a senior. She is the only Spartan on either the UAA 25th or 30th Anniversary Teams. McCutchan Minton led the CWRU volleyball team to its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2010, following a season in which the team won 24 matches, including an upset of top-ranked WashU. A complete student-athlete, McCutchan Minton was named to three CoSIDA Academic All-America Teams, including two selections to the First Team, and was awarded the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship following her graduation from CWRU.
