The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's tennis teams and 33 individual members of the two squads were recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for their academic excellence during the 2025-26 year.
The men's and women's squads each received All-Academic Team honors, which requires a team GPA of 3.2 or above (on a 4.0 scale) during the 2025-26 academic year. The women's team finished the year with a 3.464 GPA, while the men recorded a GPA of 3.707.
A total of 13 members of the women's team were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, including graduate student Hannah Kassaie, seniors Katalina Wang and Ellior Rose, juniors Prachi Shah, Kareena Sivanesan, and Katie Wong, sophomores Maya Brink and Sara Fernandez, and first-years Rasika Anandakumar, Atra Biria, Ava Karrenbauer, Tara Markovic, and Emma Thoms.
Twenty members of the men's team also received the individual honors, including graduate students Ansh Shah and Bryce Ware, seniors Rohan Bhat, Josh Davydov, Anmay Devaraj, and Matthew Plunkett, juniors George Kosseifi, Trey Lambright, Santiago Salazar Garza, and Derek Shiffer, sophomores Leon Chen, Rohit Jain, Konrad Kwiatkowski, Luke Saylor, and Jon Totorica, and first-years Shay Gupta, Xander Jhaveri, Marko McRae, Glen Ngo, and Nikhil Ramani.
ITA Scholar-Athlete acclaim is awarded to players with a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the 2024-25 academic year.
The CWRU women's tennis team finished the 2025-26 season with a 13-7 overall record, while placing fifth in the University Athletic Association and reaching the second round of the NCAA Championship. The men reached the semifinals of the NCAA Championship and placed second in the UAA, while going 29-9 during the campaign.
