Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Westlake High School tennis team, where he was coached by his father, Saumil Jhaveri… Served as a captain from his sophomore year through his senior campaign… Placed third in the state with current CWRU teammate Rohit Jain as a junior… Went on to finish fourth in the state in singles as a senior and was named his team’s Most Valuable Player… Went 32-4 at no. 1 singles in his senior campaign… Graduated in the top 10 in his class… Also received coaching from Tariq Ismail.

Personal

Born August 4… The son of Saumil and Stacie… His father played tennis for Ohio State from 1987-91 and serves as an assistant coach on the CWRU team… His brother, Aris, was a CWRU tennis player from 2017-21 and is a current assistant on the team… His sister, Demetria, played tennis at Valparaiso from 2019-23 and at Fordham in 2024.
