Graduate Student (2025-26)

Earned All-America honors during his first season as a Spartan as part of a doubles pairing with Trey Lambright… Secured the All-America honor after entering the draw as the third-seeded team and reached the quarterfinals of the draw… Ended the year as the fifth-ranked doubles pairing in Division III and the second-ranked duo in the region… Named to the All-UAA First Team for his play at no. 1 doubles and was an honorable mention at no. 6 singles… Went 28-11 in doubles play to lead the team in both doubles wins and winning percentage (.718) during the season… Tied for the 18^th-most doubles wins in a season in program history… Was 17-8 in no. 1 doubles matches during the year… Went 12-7 in singles matches, including a 9-4 mark in dual contests and a 5-3 record at no. 6 singles… Received UAA Athlete of the Week honors twice during the season – on February 16 and April 20… Clinched the doubles point on seven occasions and had one match-clinching singles win, coming during the Spartans’ 4-0 victory over 15^th-ranked Mary Washington in the third round of the NCAA Tournament… Reached the semifinals of the ITA Fall Regional Championship with Lambright after entering the draw as the ninth-seeded duo… Went 1-1 in doubles matches and 2-0 in singles play at the UAA Championship… Was 2-2 in doubles matches and 1-2 in singles play during the NCAA Team Tournament… Selected to the CSC Academic All-America Second Team… Also named to the CSC Academic All-District team… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to CWRU

Came to CWRU as a graduate transfer from Kansas Wesleyan University (NAIA), where he was a three-year member of the men’s tennis team from 2021-24… Graduated from the program as one of the top players in program history, posting a 121-30 career record… Was a two-time Kansas Conference Player of the Year and a two-time NAIA All-American (first team in 2024 and second team in 2023)… Named to the CSC Academic All-America team twice… Was the ITA Most Improved Player in the  Central Region and a recipient of the ITA Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership Award… Named the KCAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year twice… Ranked as high as eighth in the NAIA in singles… Attended Canyon High School, where he was a four-year member of the tennis team and served as a captain during his junior and senior campaigns… Coached by John Gonzalez… Was a two-time state champion and a two-time all-state first team honoree… Went 52-3 during his senior campaign… Graduated in the top 10 in his class… Also received coaching from Alynna Phouthakio.
