Stats and Standouts

  • CWRU took the first doubles match of the day with a 6-3 win at no. 3 doubles from seniors Rohan Bhat and Anmay Devaraj. However, the Tartans claimed a win at no. 1 doubles, shifting the attention to the second match.

After the Tartans evened the score at 5-5, the Spartans' pair scored the final two to claimed a 7-6 (5) victory and give CWRU the doubles point.

  • Graduate student Bryce Ware opened singles play with a straight-set win in the sixth match to extend the Spartans' lead to 2-0, and a straight-set win at no. 4 singles from graduate student Ansh Shah put CWRU a victory away from clinching.

  • The Tartans claimed a win at no. 1 singles to set the score at 3-1, but Devaraj was able to write the Spartans' ticket to the conference championship match with a straight-set win in the third singles match.
