Sophomore Gabby Lee and first-year Shayli Dodia of the Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team saw their run at the 2026 ITA Division III Central Regional Championship end on Sunday at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Lee and Dodia, who were seeded ninth in the 48-pairing draw, faced top-seeded Eleanor Archer and Caitlin Bui from WashU in the semifinals on Sunday morning. The Spartan pair lost 2-6, 5-7 to the Bears, ending the team's time at the regional tournament.
CWRU concluded the fall season with an overall record of 30-23 in doubles action and 32-40 in singles matches. Dodia and Lee went 5-3 as a doubles partnership in the fall.
With the fall season complete, the Spartans will next face intercollegiate competition in the spring semester. The season is tentatively scheduled to start on Saturday, February 13, 2027, with a home matchup against Wilmington College.
