Four members of the Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team advanced to the second day of competition at the 2026 ITA DIII Women's Central Regional Championship hosted by Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Friday.
Sophomore Atra Biria, senior Katie Wong, sophomore Gabby Lee and first-year Shayli Dodia all advanced in both singles and doubles play without dropping a match on Friday. Biria and Wong, who were seeded ninth in the draw, will face third-seeded Rosalyn Chan and Clara Zou of Chicago in the doubles round of 16. Lee and Dodia, also seeded ninth, will take on Chicago's fourth-seeded pair of Anika Paul and Lily Zawaneh in the doubles round of 16. Both matches will begin at 9 a.m.
In singles play, Wong will face ninth-seeded Zawaneh in the round of 32 with the winner playing either eighth-seeded Ally Lin from WashU or 17th-seeded Lilliam Dockal from Lake Forest in the round of 16. Dodia is slated to play 17th-seeded Lora Szabo from Kenyon in the round of 32. If she advances, she would take on either third-seeded Jane Wong from Chicago or 17th-seeded Madeline Bradshaw from Denison.
In the round of 32, Biria is scheduled to play fifth-seeded Leila Epstein from WashU with the winner set to take on either ninth-seeded Kiara Komlodi from Kenyon or 17th-seeded Addison Lyons from Kalamazoo. Lee will face Isabelle Chong from Chicago in the round of 32 with the winner slated to play either seventh-seeded Caitlin Bui from WashU or Austin Audrey from Ohio Northern.
