The 15th-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team was selected to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship, as announced by the organization during a selection show on Monday.

The Spartans will be making their fourth all-time appearance in the national tournament with all four selections coming in the past five years. CWRU reached the Third Round of the postseason in both 2022 and 2024 and has an all-time record of 3-3 in postseason play.

This season, Case Western Reserve will be traveling to Baltimore for the first three rounds of the championship with the seven-team regional hosted by fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins University. The Spartans will take on Albright College (14-4) in the First Round on Friday.

The winner of the match between CWRU and Albright will face the winner of the match between University Athletic Association rival and 10th-ranked Carnegie Mellon (16-7) and St. Mary's College (14-4) on Saturday. The other side of the draw features the host Blue Jays (12-6), who received a bye into the Second Round, RPI (12-6), and Allegheny (16-6). The Third Round matchup will take place on Sunday.

The winner of the regional will advance to the national quarterfinal on Tuesday, May 19 at the Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Earlier in the year, the Spartans faced Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, and Allegheny, defeating the Gators but falling to the Tartans and Blue Jays. Case Western Reserve has never played the other three schools in the draw.
