Bogart claimed a spot on the All-University Athletic Association Second Team and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team in 2015.

What is your current occupation?

I work as a physical therapist. I work in an outpatient orthopedics setting and I evaluate and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and post operative patients to help them return to their prior level of function, whether that is as an athlete or just to normal daily activities. I work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health care team to help achieve the best outcomes for patients.

How did your athletic and academic experience at CWRU help prepare you for post-graduate life?

I felt that CWRU was the perfect mix of competitive sports teams and high level academics that really helped me further develop time management skills. Being a part of a team through athletics has really helped me manage working in group settings with a variety of personalities.

What is your favorite and/or most memorable moment as a CWRU athlete?

My favorite memory as a CWRU athlete was all the fun moments we had traveling to various different cities and Italy and just getting to spend time with my teammates.

What advice would you give to a current CWRU student-athlete?

Enjoy the small moments, like the bus rides and dinners together with your team, as those are some of the things you will miss the most when you graduate.

Why is it important to stay engaged with CWRU athletics after graduation?

Alumni involvement was helpful for me to get advice while I was a student and to help feel a part of a larger community. I want to be able to pass that on to current students.
