Wall, Ngo Receive AVCA All-America Honorable Mentions

Seniors Kalli Wall and Amanda Ngo of the Case Western Reserve University volleyball team received All-America honorable mentions, the AVCA announced on Wednesday.

Ngo is honored nationally for the second time in her career after receiving All-America Third Team honors in 2024. Wall earned All-America honors for the first time in her career. Both players were named to the All-Region VII First Team last week.

Ngo is the first player in program history to receive multiple All-America honors from the AVCA after becoming the first Spartan to be named to the All-Region First Team twice. She is one of three players in CWRU volleyball history to receive multiple All-University Athletic Association First Team honors (2025, 2024) and received All-UAA honorable mention in 2022.

This season, Ngo was the team's top blocker, totaling 116 blocks, which ranked 23rd in Division III before the NCAA Tournament, including 32 solo in 120 sets. On the offensive end, she was second on the squad with 311 kills, averaging 3.23 per set, and paced the team with a .284 hitting percentage. Across four seasons, Ngo had 832 kills on a .267 attacking percentage and 319 total blocks. She finished her career with 1,026.0 points and ranked sixth in program history in career blocks per set, seventh in total blocks, and 18th in kills.

Wall, who received All-UAA Second Team honors as an outside hitter, led the team with 431 kills in 120 sets, ranking 28th nationally in kills prior to the postseason. She totaled 469.0 points, the second-most in the UAA in the regular season and added 68 blocks (six solo) and 116 digs. Wall ended her career with 1,064 kills, the 12th most in program history, and 1,192.5 points, the 13th most by a Spartan. Her kills per set rate this season was the eighth highest by a Case Western Reserve attacker in a single campaign and her career .231 attacking percentage was 14th best in program lore.

The CWRU volleyball team ended the 2025 season with a record of 17-14, its fourth consecutive winning season. The Spartans went 4-3 in UAA play, finished fifth in the team standings and at the conference tournament.
