Case Western Reserve University seniors Amanda Ngo and Kalli Wall were each named to the AVCA All-Region 7 First Team, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Ngo, who was an All-America Third Team selection last season, is receiving her second career All-Region honor. Wall earned her first career recognition. Both players are eligible to be selected to one of the three All-America Teams, which will be announced on Wednesday, November 26 by the AVCA.
CWRU is represented by two student-athletes on the All-Region First Team for the second consecutive year and second time ever after Ngo and former Spartan Rea Marfatia were honored in 2024. Ngo is the first player in program history to be named to multiple All-Region First Teams and the third CWRU player to receive multiple regional honors from the AVCA, joining her sister Jennifer Ngo (All-Region First Team in 2023 and honorable mention in 2022) and Spartan Club Hall of Famer Tricia McCutchan (honorable mention in 2008, 2011).
This season, Ngo, who was also named to the All-University Athletic Association First Team on Tuesday as a middle blocker, was the team's top blocker, totaling 116 blocks, including 32 solo, in 120 sets. She ranked 23rd in Division III in total blocks. On the offensive end, Ngo was second on the squad with 311 kills, averaging 3.23 per set, and paced the team with a .284 hitting percentage. Across four seasons, Ngo had 832 kills on a .267 attacking percentage and 319 total blocks. She finished her career with 1,026.0 points and ranked seventh in program history in blocks, sixth in blocks per set, and 18th in kills.
Wall, who received All-UAA Second Team honors as an outside hitter, led the team with 431 kills in 120 sets. She was 28th nationally in kills. Wall totaled 469.0 points, the second-most in the UAA, and added 68 blocks (six solo) and 116 digs. She ended her career with 1,064 kills, the 12th most in program history, and 1,192.5 points, the 13th most by a Spartan. Wall's kills per set rate this season was the eighth highest by a Case Western Reserve attacker in a single campaign and her career .231 attacking percentage was 14th best in program lore.
The CWRU volleyball team ended the 2025 season with a record of 17-14, its third consecutive winning season. The Spartans went 4-3 in UAA play, finished fifth in the team standings and at the conference tournament.
