Twelve members of the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced on Thursday. In addition, both teams earned Scholar All-America Team honors.
Mason Bencurik, Anna Brown, Eliza Dixon, John Drumm, William Froass, Claire Kozma, Sheila Monera Cabarique, Trevor Novak, Sohalya Rawlins, and Ryan Wells were selected to the Scholar All-America First Team with Jayna Kawas and Jack Rudofsky selected to the Second Team.
Drumm has received Scholar All-America honors in each of his four seasons on the team, securing First Team selection three times and Second Team honors in 2023. Dixon and Kozma both earned First Team honors for the third consecutive year, and Bencurik received his second First Team honor in a row. Brown, Froass, Kawas, Monera Cabarique, Novak, Rawlins, Rudofsky, and Wells were each selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for the first time in their careers.
To qualify for First Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NCAA B qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
To earn Scholar All-America Team honors, the men's team finished the spring semester with a GPA of 3.71, and the women's team registered a 3.65 GPA. The men's squad ranked 15th in Division III in GPA and third among University Athletic Association teams, while the women's squad ranked 48th nationally out of 158 schools that qualified.
Teams were selected based on their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition. The CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester.
The teams are led by Head Coach Doug Milliken, who recently completed his 16th year at the helm of the programs. In every season of Milliken's leadership, the CWRU swimming and diving teams have each earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
The CWRU women's swimming and diving team finished 17th at the national championship meet with eight members of the team receiving All-America honors, and the Spartan men's team placed 25th with five members earning All-America recognition.
The Spartan women's swimming and diving team tied for 23rd in the team standings at the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships with 21.0 points, placing in the top 25 for the third consecutive year and scoring at the national championship for the seventh time in a row. The CWRU men's swimming and diving team placed 33rd in the team standings at the national championship with 22.0 points, placing in the top 35 nationally for the third year in a row.
