Four members of the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team earned All-America Second Team honors on the second day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Senior Claire Kozma earned two All-America honors, one as an individual and one as a part of a relay. Individually, she placed ninth in the 200 Free with a time of 1:50.07 in the consolation final. She qualified for the final with the 11th-fastest prelims time of 1:50.79. Kozma earned the program's fifth-ever national honor in the event and the first since Lauren Preyss placed second nationally in 2007.
Kozma joined sophomore Marina Oria, first-year Sohalya Rawlins, and senior Eliza Dixon for the 200 Free Relay, which placed 13th with a time of 1:33.30 in the consolation final. The quartet qualified for the final with the 11th-fastest time in the prelims of 1:33.34. CWRU placed in the top 16 in the relay for the third consecutive year and the eighth time in program history.
For Kozma, the All-America honors are the ninth and 10th of her career, tied for the third most in program history. Dixon received her third career national honor, all in the 200 Free Relay, and Oria and Rawlins earned the first All-America recognitions of their careers.
Additionally, senior Mason Bencurik of the men's swimming and diving team placed 29th in the 200 Free with a time of 1:39.35.
The Case Western Reserve women's swimming and diving team is tied for 20th in the team standings with 17.0 points after two days of competition. The men's team is tied for 37th with four points.
The NCAA Championships will continue tomorrow with members of the CWRU teams participating in the 200 Fly, 1-meter dive, 200 Medley Relay, and 800 Free Relay. Preliminary action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with finals scheduled for 6 p.m.
