First-year sprinter Gianna Phipps of the Case Western Reserve University women's track and field team set a school record in the 200-meter dash at the Bob Kahn Invitational hosted by Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, this weekend.
Phipps completed the race in 25.73 seconds, besting the previous mark of 25.88 seconds run by Leslie Stanard in 2011. She also won the 400-meter dash, one of five Spartans to claim events at the unscored meet.
