Case Western Reserve University junior Anmay Devaraj and senior Casey Hishinuma were selected to the 16-pairing doubles draw for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Individual Championships later in May.
It was the first NCAA Individual selection for both Devaraj and Hishinuma. The duo, named to the All-UAA First Team earlier in the week, is ranked 13th in Division III this season and is 14-4 as a pair in 2025.
In addition, senior Ajay Mahenthiran was selected as the first alternate for the 32-player singles draw while sophomore George Kosseifi is the seventh alternate. Mahenthiran, ranked 14th in Division III, is 22-11 in singles play this year and was named to the All-UAA First Team for his play at no. 1 singles. Should he make the draw, it would be his second straight NCAA singles appearance. Kosseifi, ranked 38th, is 21-8 in singles contests this season.
The individual championships will follow the team championship and will be held May 23-26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California, and hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. The draw for the individual championship will be done by the men's tennis committee and released on May 22, not before 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
CWRU, ranked fifth in Division III, stands at 25-5 overall and will host the first three rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship at Carlton Courts in Cleveland from May 9-11.
