Biography
Junior (2024-25)
Earned the first All-America honor of his career, securing the award after being selected as the third-seeded pairing in the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship with Casey Hishinuma… Named to the All-UAA First Team for his play at both no. 3 singles and no. 1 doubles during the campaign… Finished the season ranked 36th nationally and 12th regionally in singles play, in addition to being ranked 12th nationally and fourth in the region for his work at doubles… Went 22-9 in singles matches, including a 14-6 mark as the team’s no. 3 player… Won his last six matches of the year to be decided, including a 2-0 record at the UAA Championship and a 3-0 mark during the NCAA play… Clinched the Spartans’ win over Brandeis in the UAA Quarterfinals… Added a 25-11 record in doubles action, including a 16-6 mark in no. 1 doubles matches… Selected as the UAA Athlete of the Week on March 31 after going 2-0 in singles matches and 3-0 in doubles play in wins against 21st-ranked Washington & Lee, Hobart, and 10th-ranked WashU… Seeded 17th in the singles draw at the ITA Fall Regionals and reached the round of 16 of the draw… Teamed with Ansh Shah as the third-seeded pairing of the doubles draw and reached the round of 16… Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team… Secured both UAA Spring All-Academic and ITA Scholar-Athlete honors following the season… Ended his junior season with a 44-15 singles record and a 62-21 doubles record.
Sophomore (2023-24)
Emerged as a key player in the Spartans’ doubles lineup during his sophomore season, earned All-UAA Second Team honors for his play at no. 2 doubles with Sahil Dayal… Finished the year ranked sixth regionally in doubles… Went 31-8 in doubles matches during the season to lead the team with a .795 doubles winning percentage… The 31 wins were tied for the 10th most in program history, while the .795 winning percentage was the 21st-highest ever by a Spartan… Added a 10-3 singles record during the campaign, including a 6-1 mark in dual matches and a 4-1 record as the team’s sixth singles player… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on February 12 after going 2-0 in doubles matches and 1-0 in singles play against Allegheny and Holy Cross… Recorded an 11-match doubles winning streak from March 29 through the team’s NCAA Round of 16 win over 15th-ranked Johns Hopkins… Was 3-0 in doubles matches during the UAA Tournament… Reached the semifinals of the ITA Fall Regional doubles draw with Dayal… Went 2-1 in no. 1 doubles matches at the ITA Indoor Championship… Won his final three singles matches of the year out of the no. 6 spot in the lineup, all of which were against nationally ranked Division III teams… Was seeded 17th and reached the round of 32 of the ITA Fall Regional singles draw… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his sophomore year ranked fifth in program history with a career .787 (37-10) doubles winning percentage.

Went 12-3 in singles matches and 6-2 in doubles contests, including an 8-1 singles record and a 3-0 doubles tally in dual matches… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Prior to CWRU
Was a four-year member of the Lake Travis High School team... Served as the captain his senior year, helping to lead the team to the state finals... Coached by Carol Creel... Played at no. 1 singles and doubles all four years of high school... Earned all-district honors each year... Named to the Academic All-State team... Also coached by Sudanwa Sitaram and Liam Crawley.
