Senior (2024-25)


Earned All-America honors for the second consecutive season after ending the season ranked 12th nationally and fourth in the region in singles play… Received All-UAA First Team honors for his work at no. 1 singles… Ended the year with a 25-13 singles record, including a 19-10 mark in dual matches and an 18-10 record at no. 1 singles… Added a 22-6 record in doubles play, including a 15-4 mark in no. 3 doubles matches and a 7-2 mark when paired with Rohan Bhat… Led the team with a .786 doubles winning percentage during the year… Went undefeated in his last eight doubles matches of the season… Went 3-0 in doubles matches and 2-1 in singles contests during the UAA Championship… Recorded a 3-2 singles record and a 3-0 doubles mark during the NCAA Championship… Clinched the team’s NCAA second-round win over 56th-ranked Whitman… Reached the quarterfinals of the singles draw (as the second-seeded player) and the round of 32 of the doubles draw at the ITA Fall Regional Championship… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 16 after winning the doubles draw at the Youngstown State Invitational and going 1-1 in singles play… Winner of the Elite 90 Award for Division III Men’s Tennis after having the highest cumulative grade point average among players at the final site of the NCAA Championship… Named to the CSC Academic All-America First Team for the second consecutive season, as well as securing a place on the Academic All-District Team… Received both UAA Spring All-Academic and ITA Scholar-Athlete honors following the season… Ended his career ranked fourth in program history in singles wins (89-28), 14th in singles winning percentage (.761), and fourth in doubles winning percentage (.805).

Junior (2023-24)


Named an All-American for the first time in his career, earning the honor for his singles play after winning the ITA Fall Central Region Singles Championship… Went on to go 2-1 at the ITA Cup… Selected to the NCAA Individual Singles Tournament field, finishing in the round of 32… Named the ITA National Division III Most Improved Player… Also received the honor for the Central Region…  Earned a spot on the All-UAA First Team for his play at no. 1 singles… Was exclusively used as a singles player, going 24-7 in singles matches during the year… Led the team in singles wins during the year and the 24 wins were tied for the 12th-most in a season in program history, while his .774 winning percentage is the 21st-best mark… Went 16-5 in dual matches, including a 6-4 mark as the team’s no. 1 singles player… Won 14 of his first 15 matches during the year… Ended the year ranked 10th nationally and fourth in the region for singles play… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on October 2 after winning the ITA Regional Championship… Earned the honor again on March 18 after going 7-1 in singles matches during the team’s Spring Break trip… Named to the CSC Academic All-America First Team and the Academic All-District Team… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his junior year with a 64-15 career singles record, ranking him 11th in program history in singles wins and sixth in singles winning percentage (.810).

Sophomore (2022-23)


Named to the All-UAA Second Team for his play at no. 5 singles… Emerged as a regular in the Spartans’ singles lineup, going 28-6 overall, including a 14-3 mark in no. 5 singles matches and 20-4 in the spring… His 28 singles wins were tied for the most by a CWRU player during the year and tied for the fourth most in a season in program history, falling just two short of the school’s single-season record… His .824 winning percentage for the year was the 14th-best by a Spartan… Added a 5-1 doubles ledger… Won two of his three NCAA Tournament singles matches that were completed, including a victory against Tufts in the National Championship match… Earned a win at no. 5 singles against WashU during the UAA Championship match… Won 12 of his final 13 singles matches during the campaign…Went 2-0 in singles play during the ITA Indoor Championships… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 19 after being named to the All-Tournament Team at the Rocket Invitational… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete… Received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his sophomore season with a 40-8 career singles record, giving him the third-best winning percentage (.833).

First-year (2021-22)


Finished the 2021-22 season with a 12-2 singles record and a 6-1 doubles mark, including tallies of 9-1 in singles and 1-0 in doubles in dual matches… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Personal


Was a four-year member of the North Central High School tennis team, serving as a captain during his junior and senior years... Coached by Dan Brunette and Lucas Waak in high school, while also receiving coaching from Bryan Smith and Hector Clavijo... Was a multiple-time All-State honoree, and won the state singles championship as a senior... Named to the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association Senior All-Star Team... Led his squad to state runner-up finishes his sophomore, junior and senior years... Was his high school's valedictorian and named an Indiana Academic All-Star... An AP Scholar with Distinction...
