Box Score The duo of senior Casey Hishinuma and junior Anmay Devaraj represented the Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Doubles Championship on Friday evening at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California.
The Spartan duo, seeded third in the 16-pairing draw, fell to Drew Goldman and Jay Mallampati of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in two sets, 4-6, 1-6. The CWRU partnership, which was ranked 13th by the ITA entering the tournament, ended the season with a record of 15-7. The Sagehens, who were ranked sixth by the ITA in Division III, improved to 12-6 during the season.
Hishinuma finished his career with a mark of 48-19 in doubles play, while Devaraj dropped to 62-21 in three seasons in doubles contests.
The loss ended the season for the CWRU men's tennis team, which won 29 matches and advanced to the team championship final for the fourth time in program history.
