Three Spartans Earn All-UAA Volleyball Honors

Three members of the Case Western Reserve University volleyball team were named to All-University Athletic Association Teams, the association announced on Tuesday.

Senior middle blocker Amanda Ngo was named to the First Team, senior outside hitter Kalli Wall received Second Team honors, and sophomore defensive specialist Sophia Datto was an All-UAA honorable mention.

Ngo received First Team honors for the second consecutive season, becoming just the third Spartan ever to receive multiple First Team selections. She joins her sister Jennifer Ngo (2023, 2022, 2021) and Lindsey Deyer (2000, 1999) as multiple First Team honorees. This is Amanda Ngo's third career all-conference selection; she was also an honorable mention in 2022.

This season, she was the team's top blocker, totaling 116 blocks, including 32 solo, in 120 sets. Ngo ranked third in the conference in blocks per set (0.97) and second in total blocks. She also ranked 23rd in Division III in total blocks. On the offensive end, Ngo was second on the squad with 311 kills, averaging 3.23 per set, and paced the team with a .284 hitting percentage, which ranked sixth in the league. Across four seasons, Ngo had 832 kills on a .267 attacking percentage and 319 total blocks. She finished her career with 1,026.0 points and ranked seventh in program history in blocks, sixth in blocks per set, and 18th in kills.

Wall, who received her first career recognition by the UAA, led the team with 431 kills in 120 sets. She was fourth in the conference in kills per set (3.59) and second in the league and 28th nationally in kills. Wall totaled 469.0 points, the second-most in the UAA, and added 68 blocks (six solo) and 116 digs. She ended her career with 1,064 kills, the 12th most in program history, and 1,192.5 points, the 13th most by a Spartan. Wall's kills per set rate this season was the eighth highest by a Case Western Reserve attacker in a single campaign and her career .231 attacking percentage was 14th best in program lore.

Datto, who served as the team's libero for most of the season, led the team with 553 digs. She ranked third in the UAA with 4.61 digs per set and was two shy of the conference lead in total digs. She added 82 assists and 25 service aces during the campaign and finished 31st in Division III in total digs. Datto's 553 digs were the most by a Spartan in a single season since 2015 and she finished the year with 972 career digs. This is her first All-UAA honor.

The CWRU volleyball team ended the 2025 season with a record of 17-14, its third consecutive winning season. The Spartans went 4-3 in UAA play, finished fifth in the team standings and at the conference tournament.
