WOOSTER, Ohio – The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming & diving team ranks fourth after day one of the 2014 Wooster Invitational at Ellen Shapiro Natatorium.

Division II Gannon University (Pa.) leads the team standings with 458.5 points, while host College of Wooster is second at 333. DII Edinboro University (Pa.) is ahead of the Spartans (296) with 312 points.

Freshman Mary Katherine Miller (Baton Rouge, La./Saint Joseph's Academy) turned in the team's top individual performance, placing fourth of 24 in the 200-yard individual medley (2:08.80).

In the first event of the night, the 200 freestyle relay, the Spartans 'A' team placed fourth as the team of freshmen Inez Moore (Lakewood, Colo./D'Evelyn), Ellie Wilson (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seven Hills) and Jennifer Eurich (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown Area) along with junior Rebecca Pakradooni (Augusta, Ga./Lakeside) finished in 1:38.58.

Day two (Friday, December 5) of the invite is set for 10:00 a.m. prelims and 6:00 p.m. finals. Diving events will be held at Wooster's Timken Natatorium.
