Wilkov Named CSC Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year

Case Western Reserve University senior diver Abigail Wilkov was named the College Sports Communicators Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for women's swimming and diving as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Wilkov is the third student-athlete in CWRU history to earn the honor and second in the last three years. Former Spartans Hannah Kassaie (women's tennis, 2023) and Jim Fox (men's basketball, 1997) also received the award from the organization, previously known as CoSIDA.

A neuroscience major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, Wilkov won the Elite 90 Award at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships for having the highest GPA at the championship site. In the pool, she placed second nationally in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events, the best-ever finishes by a Spartan diver at the national championships.

Wilkov finished her career as a seven-time All-America honoree, including six First Team honors, and will graduate as the most decorated diver in program history of any gender. She won the University Athletic Association championship in the 1-meter dive in 2025, finishing her time at CWRU as a two-time All-UAA honoree. Wilkov's seven honors are tied for ninth-most in program history and her six First Team honors are third-most in program history. In addition, her second-place finish on the 1-meter board marked the best national finish by a Spartan since Lauren Preyss placed second in the 200 Free at the 2007 championships. Wilkov became the second-ever member of the CWRU women's swimming and diving team to record multiple top two national finishes in a career and in a single championship. She also holds the program and pool records in both diving events.

Wilkov was also named to the CSC Academic All-America First Team for the second consecutive season.

Overall, the CWRU women's swimming and diving team placed 17th nationally out of 39 schools, totaling 54.0 points across the four days of competition in five events. The 54 points were the sixth-most by a Spartan women's team in program history and the 17th place finish is tied for fifth highest all-time.
