Three members of the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team were named to CSC Academic All-America Teams, the organization announced on Tuesday. Senior diver Abigail Wilkov was selected to the First Team, junior swimmer Claire Kozma earned Second Team honors, and senior swimmer Angeli Paull received a Third Team selection.
The selections are the sixth, seventh, and eighth in the history of the program. CWRU had multiple Academic All-Americans for the second consecutive season after Wilkov was named to the First Team and Kozma received Third Team honors in 2024. They join Sharon Sanborn (1997, 1998) as the only two-time Academic All-Americans in program history. Paull received Academic All-America selection for the first time in her career.
Wilkov was also named the CSC Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.
Since the inception of the program, 122 CWRU student-athletes have earned 177 Academic All-America selections. The three members of the women's swimming and diving team are the first honorees this academic year for Case Western Reserve.
Kozma earned three All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in March, increasing her career total to eight. She helped the Spartans place 12th in the 200 Free Relay, 14th in the 800 Free Relay, and 15th in the 400 Free Relay. Individually, she placed 18th nationally in the 100 Fly, 32nd in the 50 Free, and 43rd in the 100 Free. She earned All-University Athletic Association honors this season in the 200 Free Relay and placed fourth in the 100 Fly, seventh in the 50 Free, and seventh in the 200 Fly. She has a cumulative 4.0 GPA as a human nutrition major.
Paull helped the Spartans place 14th in the 400-yard freestyle relay and 15th in the 800-yard freestyle relay at the 2025 NCAA Championships. She earned a pair of All-America Second Team selections for her efforts, finishing her career with four total All-America honors after earning two at the 2024 Championships. At the 2025 UAA Championships in February, Paull helped CWRU place fourth in the 400 Free Relay and fifth in the 800 Free Relay while also finishing 14th in the 100 Free and 21st in the 200 Free as an individual. She has earned a 3.86 cumulative grade point average as a nutritional biochemistry and metabolism major.
Student-athletes who maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as a sophomore academically and athletically and competed in at least five competitions or finished in the top eight at a conference meet to be eligible for the award. The CSC selected 11 members for its First Team, nine members for its Second Team, and 10 members for its Third Team out of the 646 student-athletes selected to the Academic All-District Team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Swimming and Diving Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's swimming and diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Division III CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America programs.
CWRU placed 17th nationally out of 39 scoring schools at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships, totaling 54.0 points across the four days of competition. The 54 points are the sixth-most by a Spartan women's team in program history and the 17th place finish is tied for fifth highest all-time.
